aren't yet billionaires hope. How did they make their billions? Their is a saying that if we don't understand
history, we will be doomed to repeat it. If you study and understand how these billionaires came to be, you have a

The
number of international billionaires is soaring. As emerging markets continue their growth, more and more
billionaires are bound to emerge. According to Forbes, this year’s list of billionaires is up to 1,210
billionaires. That is an astronomical number. It appears that a lot of the increase in the number of
international billionaires is due to improving conditions in the world economy; if you are one of the lucky
ones…congratulations are in order. Reports for 2011 show that China doubled its number of 10-figure fortunes,
and Moscow now has more billionaires than any other city and Mexico's Carlos Slim widened his lead at the number
1 spot.

As you can see, this is truly an international list of billionaires. An American no longer holds the top spot for
the world’s richest man. That honor goes to Carlos Slim Helu of Mexico and the telecom arena is where he has made
his billions. Not to be forgotten are Bill Gates who ranks second on the list of the world’s wealthiest people and
Warren Buffet taking the 3rd spot.
In the past, the list of billionaires used to be dominated by Americans and Europeans, but the rest of the world is
beginning to catch. Billionaires are only emerging from First World countries, but Third World countries as well.
According to an article by the Huffington Post, “new billionaires are increasingly likely
to come from emerging economies like India and Russia”. Brazil has also shown as increasing number of billionaires
as well, but the powerhouse that is China at is current rate of growth of billionaires is expected by most to
overtake the list as the country with the most number of billionaires.

tops the list with 396 billionaires and a population of around 307 million people.

list at number 2 with 72 billionaires and a population of slightly more than 1.3 billion people.

list at number 3 with 58 billionaires and a population of nearly 142 million people.

India comes in at
number 4 with 47 billionaires and boasts a population of nearly 1.16 billion people.

Germany is ranked
at number 5 with 43 billionaires and a population of roughly 82 million.

The United
Kingdom registers at number 6 with 42 billionaires with a population of roughly 62
million.

Hong Kong makes
the list at number 7 with 29 billionaires and with a population of approximately 7 million
people.

Switzerland comes
in at number 8 with 27 billionaires out of a population of less than 8 million people.

Japan come in at
number 9 with 23 billionaires and a population of 127 million.

the list with 22 billionaires and a population of less than 34 million people.
